Why Choose Us?
Custom Milk Cartons, Printed and Built for Your Dairy Brand
A milk carton does two jobs at once. It keeps the product fresh from the filling line to the fridge, and it sells your brand from the shelf. We build custom milk cartons that handle both, with food grade paperboard, a leak proof polyethylene coating, and print quality sharp enough to carry your farm illustration across all four panels.
We supply cartons to national dairy brands, local farms, oat and almond milk startups, school milk programs, and coffee shops that sell house made drinks. Whatever your volume, the structure and print are matched to how your product is actually filled, stored, and sold.
Milk Carton Sizes We Produce
Size is usually the first question, so here is the range. We produce every standard US milk carton size and cut custom dimensions when your filling line needs something specific.
- Half pint (8 oz), the classic school milk carton size, also popular for creamers and single serve drinks
- Pint (16 oz) for cold brew, flavored milk, and grab and go coolers
- Quart (32 oz) for retail dairy and plant based milk
- Half gallon (64 oz), the standard family size for grocery shelves
Cartons ship flat packed to save freight, pre scored and glued so they form quickly at your facility. If you run automated filling equipment, send us the machine details and we will match the blank to it.
Materials and Coatings That Keep Milk Fresh
Milk spoils when moisture, light, or oxygen get in, so the board matters more here than in almost any other packaging. We build our cartons from food grade paperboard in 12pt to 32pt weights, with an inner polyethylene (PE) coating that seals the carton against leaks and moisture absorption.
For longer shelf life we add barrier coatings that block light and oxygen, which protects flavor and slows spoilage. Tamper evident seals show the buyer at a glance that the carton has not been opened. And for brands that need milk to sit on a shelf without refrigeration, we produce shelf stable cartons using aseptic packaging, a sterile filling format that keeps milk safe for months unrefrigerated.
If your product moves through cold chain distribution, the board and coating are selected to hold up in refrigerated transport without softening or delaminating. All materials are food grade, liquid resistant, and compliant with standard US food packaging regulations.
Carton Styles: Gable Top, Cap Fitted, and Shelf Stable
The gable top carton is the classic American milk carton, with a peaked top that folds open into a pour spout. It is the style most buyers picture, and it works for refrigerated dairy, juice, and plant based milk alike. If you want the same structure for other products, see our gable boxes as well.
Cap fitted cartons add a resealable plastic spout, which households prefer for larger sizes since the carton opens and closes cleanly for days.
Shelf stable cartons use the aseptic format described above. They are the right choice for oat, almond, and soy milk brands selling through ecommerce or dry grocery aisles where refrigerated space is limited.
Not sure which style fits your product and filling setup? Tell us what you are packing and how it is filled, and we will recommend the structure honestly, including when a cheaper option will do the job.
Printing That Sells Your Brand from The Shelf
Dairy is a trust purchase. The carton is often the only marketing a milk brand has at the point of sale, so the print has to look right. We print in full color CMYK with Pantone matching for brand colors that must stay identical on every reorder, using eco friendly soy based inks.
You can run your logo, farm story, nutrition panel, and barcode across all four panels, add a QR code that links to your traceability or farm page, and finish the carton with matte or gloss lamination, spot UV, foil stamping, or embossing. Seasonal and promotional runs are easy to schedule since we print digitally for shorter quantities and offset for volume.
Who We Build Cartons For
- Local and regional dairies replacing generic stock cartons with branded packaging
- Plant based milk brands launching oat, almond, or soy lines in retail
- School and institutional milk programs ordering half pint cartons in bulk
- Coffee shops and cafes packaging house made cold brew and specialty drinks
- Beverage copackers who need consistent carton supply across multiple client brands
Ordering, MOQ, and Turnaround
Most milk carton orders start at 100 units, so a small farm can test a branded run before committing to volume, and wholesale pricing brings the unit cost down as quantities grow toward full truckload. Every order includes free dieline setup and a 3D mockup before production, so you approve exactly what will print.
Production runs 7 to 8 business days after approval, followed by 3 to 5 business days of free shipping anywhere in the USA. Browse the rest of our food packaging range if you pack more than milk, including ice cream boxes and cereal boxes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What our customers say
We switched from a Tetra Pak supplier last spring and honestly the price difference was a big reason. Got 2,000 gable tops with our farm illustration on all four panels. Print came out crisper than the proof showed which was a nice surprise. PE coating has held up across about 90 days of refrigerated distribution so far without a single leak complaint from grocers.
Pricing was fair and the leak proof seal does what they claim. Two things bugged me though. The initial quote email took almost 36 hours to arrive which felt slow when you compare to competitors who reply in an hour.
The free design support genuinely saved my budget. We are a small farm and could not afford a packaging designer. Their in house team took our hand drawn cow logo and cleaned it up into a vector that looked print ready. They sent two revision rounds without charging extra which I expected to be a paid add on.
